Full-stack engineer

Saad Minhas

I build web apps, mobile products and AI tools that hold up in production.

Right now I'm building Cannavec, a cannabis science API, with my team at Appzivo. Before that: Ask Herbie for Plantz.io, and Nina, an assistant that answers inside a live chat app.

AI Chatbot

Ask Herbie, AI Medical Assistant

View live

I built Ask Herbie for Plantz.io—a healthcare AI chatbot for Neil Cartwright's UK platform. It uses Pinecone vector retrieval for grounded answers instead of keyword matching, with embeddings, knowledge structuring, and WordPress iframe integration plus product suggestions.

AI / In-Product Assistant

Nina, AI Assistant in the Flow

View live

Nina is an in-product AI assistant inside a real-time chat app. Users type @AskNina in any thread and get answers grounded in conversation context—summaries, task extraction, and replies saved back into the chat so teams never switch apps.

Wedding & Events Directory

Perfete, Wedding Vendor Directory

View live

Perfete is a luxury wedding vendor directory where couples discover professionals and browse inspiration. Built for performance with React, Supabase, AWS S3, and Cloudflare CDN—fast auth, storage, and global delivery.

E-commerce / Store Management

ApheaFashion (Shopify)

View live

I manage ApheaFashion's Shopify store for Galina—a boho silk kimono brand with global shipping. Listings, SEO, pricing, campaigns, customer communication, and multi-currency checkout performance.

About me

I'm a full-stack engineer with 4+ years of shipping software that real people use every day: healthcare chatbots, ERP platforms, marketplaces and the stores behind them.

I started freelancing in 2019, then worked in product teams at Codeaza, Megaverse and TheHexatown. Today I run Appzivo for larger builds and still take on work directly.
